It was a classic hotel, and we greatly enjoyed everything. Bathroom was granite, with a shower, a hairdryer and terry bath robes. We did n't want to leave and would happily go back again.

The breakfast was MARVELOUS with a huge variety of items. Stay there and enjoy your Asheville city break. Free WiFi was working perfectly.

all in all an enjoyable experience. good sized room. easy walk to attractions, including foundation walls. you won't be disappointed if you stay in river arts district.

We really enjoyed staying at north lodge on oakland. The breakfast is delicious. If you plan to visit biltmore, don't pass this hotel up. The venue was situated not far from the Pedestrian Bridge bus stop, just 5 minutes walking distance.
